Buka Puasa with Three Shelter Homes

In the spirit of giving during the holy month of Ramadan, NGC Energy hosted a special Buka Puasa event with over 40 children from three shelter homes held on 13th March 2025. The event was graced by NGC Energy Malaysia’s CEO, Julianna Kamaruddin, along with the company’s management and employees, who gathered to share iftar (breaking fast) with the children and their caretakers.

• NGC Energy donated to each shelter home to support their operational needs.
• Each child received Duit Raya and a special Ramadan gift as a token of celebration and encouragement.
• The event fostered unity and joy, as employees interacted with the children, creating lasting memories together and capturing the beautiful moment of togetherness.

A Fresh Coat for Zoo Negara

• The team assisted in cleaning, scrubbing, and painting one of the zoo's main gates, while also maintaining areas such as road curbs and walls.
• The project fostered teamwork and fun, providing a great opportunity for team bonding as everyone worked together to complete the task.
• After the project, the team enjoyed a brief guided tour of the Zoo, capturing countless photos with the animals.
• This CSR event served as a way of supporting Zoo Negara's ongoing wildlife conservation efforts, and the team was proud to contribute.

A Greener Future - CSR Tree Planting Event

• We learned valuable skills from the Free Tree Society (FTS) about planting techniques, nursery management, and the importance of nature conservation.
• Collaborated and had fun planting trees, creating a lasting impact on the local ecosystem.
• Informative talks by FTS provided us with a deeper understanding of environmental preservation efforts.
• NGC Energy is proud to announce a separate donation of RM3,000 to the Free Tree Society as a sign of support for their ongoing environmental conservation efforts.
• Thanks to FTS's generosity, NGC volunteers were able to bring home some saplings to nurture and continue their green journey.

Successful CSR Beach Cleaning Activity

• Around 30 NGC volunteers demonstrated their commitment to environmental stewardship by actively engaging in the beach cleaning initiative.
• The collective efforts of our dedicated team led to the impressive collection of nearly 200 kilograms of waste. Through a meticulous post-clean-up audit, recyclable materials were identified and sorted, aligning with our commitment to sustainable practices.
• Symbolic Donation - NGC Energy contributed donation fund to Generasi Peduli Sampah to support their noble cause.

IT Donation to United Arakan Institute Malaysia (UAIM)

• Items Donated - 14 old laptops, 8 old desktop CPUs, and IT accessories.
• The donation aims to provide essential learning resources to the children at the UAIM care centre, broadening their horizons and supporting their academic growth.
• A brief handover ceremony was held, where NGC representatives and volunteers presented the donated items to UAIM officials. The principal expressed gratitude for the CSR initiative, emphasizing its positive impact on the children's education.
