Ingredients:

  • Tenderloin cut beef
  • Soy sauce
  • Corn flour/corn starch
  • Oil
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Chili padi
  • Scallions/Green onions

 

For the sauce:

  • Soy sauce
  • Hoisin sauce
  • White vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Water
  • Corn flour water mixture

 

Cooking steps:

  1. Cut and mince garlic and ginger
  2. Cut the tenderloin into small pieces
  3. Marinate the beef slices in soy sauce and then coat in corn flour/corn starch
  4. Next prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, hoisin sauce, white vinegar, sugar, water and corn flour water to thicken the sauce
  5. Once the sauce is ready, pan-fry the beef in a pan with little oil and put aside to toss the oil
  6. Next, sauté the garlic, ginger and chilli padi then add on the pan-fried beef slices
  7. Pour the sauce into the pan and stir around until cooked
  8. Lastly, add on the scallions/green onions
